1. Product description

337 water-based polyamide wax rheological additive product is a thixotropic paste made of specially modified polyamide wax dispersed and expanded in deionized water and cosolvent inadvance and activated. Specially designed and applied to water-borne coatings system, which can effectively establish thixotropy, control sag and prevent sedimentation, and can help aluminum powder and metal pigments to arrange directionally in the system.

2. Product features

Compared with traditional aqueous rheological additives,it has the following advantages:

①Excellent thixotropy, sag resistance and sedimentation resistance.

②In waterborne metallic paint, the positioning arrangement of aluminum powder can be strengthened and the gloss of paint film can be increased.

③It can be used in highly polar systems that are miscible with water.

④It is easy to disperse and can be added at any stage of production without grinding.

⑤Good temperature resistance.

 Application：337 polyamide wax slurry is suitable for all kinds of industrial and civil waterborne coatings.

3. Usage method

①337 can be added directly,at any stage of paint preparation.

②High-speed dispersing machine should be used for dispersing equipment, and high-shear equipment such as sand mill should not be used.

③The dispersing speed is 1500RPM,and the time is 20-30 minutes.During the dispersing process, attention should be paid to keeping the dispersing disk below the liquid level to prevent bubbles from being involved.

④In order to give full play to the performance of the product,it is suggested to adjust the PH value of the system,and the pH value should be ≥8.

4. Packaging and Storage

Packed in 18kg plastic drums.Storage temperature 0℃-55℃.
